They’re eating the dogs, the people that came in! They’re eating the cats, they’re eating—they’re eating the pets of the people that live there, and this is what’s happening in our country, and it’s a shame.
Donald Trump
And in today’s version of “What Trump Thinks Is Killing America”, we have … drum roll please …
immigrants!!!!
Please give yourself 2 points if you guessed correctly! I know a lot of you are keeping score on your cards at home. If you’re on 100 or above, you’re on a roll!!
So, immigrants who, and let’s quote here, “don’t know what country they’re in, practically,” are responsible for crimes and the degradation of the fabric of America, according to Trump.
It’s like going to a boxing match and seeing a guy get in a fight with a statue – an entirely unreal opponent that will not do anything because it isn’t real. Trump’s style of rhetoric is always the same predictable sandwich, where the bread is Trump boasting about his achievements and claiming he’s humble, and the filling is a sinister conspiracy theory or a wholly imagined enemy that Trump has decided he can beat the shit out of (rhetorically). If it’s not the Democrats, it’s his staff. If it’s not his staff, it’s immigrants. If it’s not immigrants, it’s “illegal aliens”. If it’s not “illegal aliens”, it’s the blacks.
Someone teach this dog a new trick!
The Man Who Can’t Lose
Trump has to win. He has to. Otherwise, how could he call himself a winner and not a failure? He has to maintain the illusion that he’s a winner. If he doesn’t, then he’ll crumble. So he’s employed the oldest strategy in psychology. They say there are five stages of grief, but Trump hasn’t allowed himself to get past the first one, which is of course denial. He simply denies that he lost, and therefore, in his mind, he’s still a winner.
Trump is incapable of grief. He’s inspired by a relentless drive for winning, and nothing, not even the law, should get in his way. Nothing in the world can defeat Donald Trump in a way he’ll acknowledge and respect. He has no honor, no humility, and no decency. And if he wasn’t willing to respect the people last time around, there isn’t a chance in hell he’s going to respect you this time. His game is money, fame, adoration, success, and power over others. He doesn’t give a shit about you. He might act like he does, but then, so do all psychopaths.
The world is still in thrall to psychopaths. Even when their self-interest is clearly evident, people love their charm. They can’t see below the surface. They take appearances as fact. Someone who does a nice thing couldn’t possibly be a bad person, could they?
Evil isn’t a cartoonish thing, where ugly villains scheme in their lairs of bitterness and adopt such obvious strategies to kill the good. Evil appeals to people precisely because it knows how to make itself look good. Dazzling, even. Evil has no problem with lying. Psychopaths like Trump have no problem with lying. They’ll do whatever they have to, and it works because people can’t pause and make a rational assessment of the person in front of them.
Trump, when assessed rationally, is not for the people; he’s for himself. He comes from a background of privilege. He used that privilege to get a significant head start and now believes himself some kind of genius (despite his apparent reluctance to even read a book, or learn how to write properly). He’s presided over whatever he can help himself to the authority for, firing anyone who doesn’t unconditionally support him; firing anyone who wants to unionize. He’s attempted fame by becoming a reality show host, a role which you can be certain he couldn’t have gotten except by favors – he’s not exactly the TV host type and never was; he was just in it for the fame. He thinks his administration was the best in the entire history of America, and he has absolutely no humility. He cannot admit defeat and just go home; he has to keep going, keep insisting he’s a fantastic winner. When it comes time for an election, it’s all about him. He makes it all about him because that’s what this is for him – it’s Donald Trump showing the world what a winner he is.
The Truth Man
Trump loves calling out fake things. He talks about the “Fake News”, fake elections, fake numbers. Check this out:
They’re eating the dogs, the people that came in! They’re eating the cats, they’re eating—they’re eating the pets of the people that live there, and this is what’s happening in our country, and it’s a shame.
Donald Trump
What was Trump’s evidence for this? “I’ve seen people on television!” Yep – apparently, everything you see on TV is true! Never saw that one coming.
Well, Trump is obviously the arbiter of what is and is not true. If he says something’s true, it must be – even if the only reason why he says it is because he saw it on television. On the flipside, if he says something’s fake, then it’s ipso facto, automatically, incontrovertibly false.
World War III
Trump warned that if he is not elected, World War III will erupt. But then you compare that with the thing about dogs and then you realize: this guy has no idea what he’s talking about.
SHUT UP
He’s just got to have the last word! He doesn’t shut up! Where’s that mute button? He’s one of those super rich androids, so there must be one!
Accept only reason and altruism. Accept only merit. Do not give your vote to talentless psychopaths like Trump.
